Why can't they get the location of that girl from that Mexican?

If I was in charge of interrogating that dude who kidnapped that girl while she was on her cell phone, I'd do it with a baseball bat and a phonebook. I have know idea why they haven't just beat the hell out of him to find out.

We get our asses beat regularly over a simple drug charge when we get arrested but they won't even lay hands on this Mexican? I don't get it.

They found a knife on him, and the sheath of the knife was in the parking lot where she was kidnapped..They found her blood in his trunk and found one of her shoes...But he's not talking so they're sending hundreds of people all over the place looking for her body..She has been missing for 18 days now

zzgundamnzz 12-10-2003 11:37 PM

The moment the cops start bending the rules is the moment that guys attorney is going to get him out.

Then he'll be back out again :(

fang 12-10-2003 11:44 PM

This is some fucked up shit :(
I live where this shit is going down (North Dakota), I was born and raised here.

Let the fucker out of jail I would love to talk to him :ak47:

HeadPimp 12-10-2003 11:48 PM

Personally I think we need to reinstitute penal colonies for people like this. That way he would never have been released in the first place...

Kevin2 12-10-2003 11:48 PM

I would like to see them torture the bastard so he will tell them where she is but that will never happen.

Damn, that is some seriously fucked up shit.

Why 12-11-2003 02:28 AM

there are ways to intice a person to talk without leaving marks.

i good string grip on his balls with some twisting motion ought to work well. :)

strong pressure applied to the temples. or the soft spot behind his ears.

Here's probably the reason: The US Constitution has the Fifth Amendment--the government cannot force a person to make involuntary incriminating statements. A person can invoke his right to silence. Cops will have to do the legwork to convict him.

they need some Thailand style justice... they had a war on drugs and the police killed 2500 'suspected' drug dealers in 3 months.... granted there is still a drug problem, but i tell you, it was alot harder for me to get drugs during this period.. =)

chowda 12-11-2003 10:25 PM

Do you REALLY believe in your heart that suspects aren't beaten behind closed doors? If you do, I want some of that good shit you're smoking.

Of course there are people with problems in any system, but the American system of justice is based on the idea that it is better for 100 guilty people to go free than for one innocent person to be punished.

That is a better concept of justice than what much of the world has, and Americans are lucky to live under a system like that. It's not perfect, and there are always people on both sides who will try to exploit it.

What happened to this girl is very sad, but what would happen to all Americans if the government over reacted to something like this would be far worse.

" They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Benjamin Franklin, 1759

Nah, they can just pull a little Pol Pot-style "justice" on this guy.
