I just ordered and bought 2 19" LCDs. I was quite looknig forward to them arriving today by overnight.. didnt happen, so I rang the computer place..

"Oh yeah, the packages were too big for one courier box"
"So did you get two then?"
"No, we sent it via AUSTRALIA POST"
"WTF?! It's the postal service. They don't have fragile deliveries!"
"We sent it registered"
"Registered is insured to only $100"

fuck australia post is shit. I get design magazines delivered.. they fold them in half, and shove them into the mailbox EVERY MONTH and rip off the cover and first pages EVERY MONTH..

yet they put the 'road ahead' and other trash on top of the mailbox.

I mean your LCD's. I used to work for Aussie Post and like you say, they don't have a fragile service. You had better hope the shop wrapped them real good.

..well they'd better hope they wrapped them well, otherwise they'll be owing me two monitors

seriosuly tho, what type of company a) ships lcds via regular post
b) does so without asking the customer
