Anyone here actually ever been sued by someone? I know I'd be rich if I had a nickel for everytime someone threatened to sue me and didn't.

No, but someone thought I was going to sue them even though I didn't know it.

I worked at a cadilac dealer. I braided my hair and they fired me. So I sued them. Settled before trial.

Been sued a few times. Only lost once ( and i still managed to win :) but thats a long story)

There is an ice cream man that comes into my neighborhood who gets sued all of the time. He was sued 9 times last year... One of which was for cutting a kids foot off. Before he drove off from a stop, a kid sat on the back bumper, and his foot somehow got stuck in the wheel well. It took it off just above the ankle... I don't think he is the smartest person in the world. I guess that is why he drives an ice cream truck.

I got sued for $800,000 when I was in college by next door neighbor

We've been sued over a few domains in the past.... never lost though.

Just had a nice one this year. They sued us, lost in the first instance, went to the court of appeal and then wimped out in the middle :)

I'm not new by a long shot, and I have yet to be sued. Someone threatens weekly..I guess it must be my people skills.

One of my tenants sued me last year cause she claimed an icicle fell off the roof and hit her and it was my fault.

Do business in the US and you will be sued. It is just a matter of time.
