Most likely they're using ebay snipping software.
Just look on ebay for snipping software, i think you can grab a copy for around 15 bucks. |

make a proxi bid eg:
If the item you want is upto say $30 a proxi bid in for $40 or more your bid will only go up the minimum and each time someone bids they will be out bid by you and by the time they re bid the time should have run out dont make a proxi bid on anything with a reserve price though as the bid youve put in will jump to what youve bid until the reserve is met |
son of a bitch!! I knew it. Thanks alot guys
Basher i will try that, Awesome! |

If you want to snipe too, and don't want to do it manually: http://isnipeit.com/
But, as mentioned before, the way to bid on eBay is to always Bid Your Max. Snipers bid this way too, as they only get one shot at entering a bid. Always bid the absolute most you are willing to pay for an item, you will still only have to pay the least amount it takes to keep you ahead of the second highest bidder. Pretend eBay only allows you to bid once, and figure out what you bid would be in that situation... Then add a little bit extra. Never bid in round numbers. If something is worth 25.00 to you, bid 25.33 or something. You don't have to bid last, you just have to bid highest. |

Listen to him. He knows exactly what he's talking about. |
No tips to give you. I'm one of those nasty people that sit by the computer and have 4 browsers open, bids all in place, ready to bid at the last second.

Auction Stealer is the way to go! :thumbsup

I've been using Esnipe for years, they only charge like 1% of the total auction value, so if you win an item for $50, it'll only cost ya 50 cents :) You just buy credits through Pay Pal, it's very easy to do. Here's the link -
