ecommerce/shopping cart - hosting - recommendations?

I have a friend that wants to set up an online clothing website. Adult in nature. Cocktease Clothing.

She sells her own stuff, but she's also a reseller of a lot of other companies (think like stripper gear and everything else with that)

and in the future wants to get into maybe toys and what not.

Does anyone have any recommendations of sites that have good built in shopping carts or ecommerce hosting sites that would work well for what she wants to do?

I'm open to suggestions and ask any questions you want. I'm fairly new to the whole shopping cart/ecommerce idea, so thats why i'm here.

Help greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

E-commerce bundles - cart - hosting - payment processing wont be too hard to source out. The prob is that most of them wont process "adult" and adult products and they tend to hose you with the cost of convenience.

X-cart.com is stacked and cheap 180 bucks - get some solid hosting and source out a merchant account.. it's a pretty low cost business model to start.

icq 33375924 for custom shopping cart, or for help setting up existing one.

I would go with OSCommerce, it's free, there's tons of support for it online, and it's getting popular enough that certain hosting companies will even install and configure it for you. It has pretty much all the front end features that you would need and the back end admin area is pretty simple to use.

I may, or may not help her design the site (graphics and coding)

Thats what i do, but when it comes to setting up databases and configuring shopping carts...i'm oblivious.

Thanks for the recommendations, keep them coming!

I'll contact those of you that posted up later when i get more of an idea.

check www.zoner.com
I'm not sure if they offers it in english, but I'm using their InShop & it works with no probs. If you can't find it on their site, try to mail them.
