How long did it take you to start making decent money in this business?
 

For those that actually make good money...how long until you started making $500/wk? $1000/wk? $2000/wk? $5000/wk?

It took a while. And Im getting tired of standing on the corner in that tight red skirt and those uncomfortable shoes....:(

3 years ago when i dipped into this it took me honestly about 3-4 months before i realized how to make some decent sales , trial and error till i got it down.

Then i took like a year and half hiatus doing really nothing just living off rebills and such and recently i started to revive evrything

it took me 5 years to make decent money in this biz.

I used to make decent money awhile back - now I don't make much. I do other things but would like to get back and give it a try.

Everyone say's my site is great, but my sales are very low. I don't know how much longer I can afford to give exclusive content. I don't know why it won't convert. I've been doing it for a year now. help boost my sales I got a check for 17.00 last week.:helpme

I think the main reason is you don't have visa on your Ccbill join pages, just mastercard.

It took less than a month... I did SEO for my own biz and for other mainstream clients before, so it was no problem... loved the instant SE listings and of course the xpics checks :)

It took me 2 weeks to get the site up and ready. It took a couple of hours to get the first sale. $1,000 the first week and it just went up from there. This was back in 96, just so you know.

Took me about a week to get there promoting Xpics, but over the years, it's been a hell of a lot more work to keep it up!

What's wrong with the design, give me a suggestion.

The reason I bought a computer was to get into this business. I had no idea what I was doing.. Took me awhile.

about 5 months or so, I started off with TGP for a month, then went to ads, then back to TGP and am satisfied with that for now after tweaking

I'm still working on it. If i didn't give it to all the webmaster maybe I would make some money.

1 year and a daily struggle to keep it going.

When I started back in the day it only took a few months from a handful of domains, thats when the search engine traffic was sweeter than sugar, now that I'm starting back up again after a 2 year break, I can only assume that it may tak a bit longer..with the TGP stype sites and link lists. Any suggestions are always welcome.

I just peeped your site and if you want to know what I think, not that you do, but I think it's too hard to navigate and it took too long to load.

My 2 cents... Make it easy with big easy to read text or buttons for them to click through and walk them to your join page.

No offense but there is ALOT wrong with your site if its supposed to be a paysite.

#1. you have traffic leaks all over. who would send traffic to a site or join one that was sending traffic to toplists or other sponsors sites in the TOUR.

#2. it takes to many clicks to get to your join page there is your join page, then the one ccbill puts on your server, then finally to the REAL join page.

#3. your pricing options you have are for a $11/5day membership non-recurring you killed all possible rebills?

#4. you are offering these non-recurring memberships on both processors.

#5. probilling is your visa join option and its your second one when its the most popular CC people use.

This biz is about rebills if you are a paysite owner paying $XX/join or a pratnership paying 50% no one offers the non-recurring (very very few do)

Couple of months after those rebills started hitting.

if you dont have money to invest straight up it will take a while, though if you already know the ins and outs of this business it wont be too hard to get there from almost nothing. though i rekon the work will be as boring as all fucking hell and not really worth it to maintain if you value your youth/life :-)

i think 500$/week could be done in 3-6 months though still depending on the quality of the webmaster and amount of effort put in -- 8-10hrs/day 5 days/week etc.

but to answer the question, i never made over $1000/week from this business, i knew it was possible but dont enjoy the work enough to make it my full time occupation -- family is more important than being glued to a fucking computer all day/night. :)

Not sure if this is a Mozilla thing, but your toplist popped OVER your site. It took me a few seconds to realise that I was looking at a toplist rather than your tour.

Also, your warning page reads like a tour, which is a bit strange... shouldn't you be trying to get surfers to enter your site so they can see the tour? :)

I think your design is wayyyy too wide. Set that table at a normal browser size.

At a glance, I don't know what you are selling. Your focal point should be a hot babe. Something to grab the surfer and make him want to click.

Top title is hard to read.

Page is very busy.
