Kimber's More like 800-1000 but they are very nice firearms... very acurate and very little kick.
|
Be an action hero and get a .50 Desert Eagle
|
Can't go wrong with a Colt .45
|
Dont get one...look what it does to your country.
Guns should be illegal. |
rocket launcher pt 2045 :Graucho

Small penis syndrome! Guns are bad!
|
if you want something for home protection get a shotgun not a pistol. for one nothing scares the shit out of an intruder more then hearing you pump a shotgun. second they leave a lot of margin for error should you be defending your home in the middle of the night in the dark and still groggy from sleep or what not.

Can't go wrong with an orange plastic gun!

guns arent magical things that fly around and shoot people, bad people use them as tools to commit crimes. stop listening to michael moore so much, he's a fucking tool |

Buddy of mine just bought an H&K USP... He seems to like it (although he bought it for the range, not to carry).
|
...sterilized.
|
Glock's a weapon. I'd go with an mp-5
|
I have used just about ever known brand in a professional capacity and I will give you my recommendation
1) Kimber 2) SIG-ARMS 3) HK The sig actually shot better for me at short distances but I ranked the Kimber higher as did great all around (short, far, water, sand, etc) |

Still the amount of people in the US that dies of guns, accidental or on purpose could be reduced by 90% if people simply wouldnt buy them or if it would be illegal to own them. Im sure you dont want to kill someone or hurt yourself....the 1000's other owners of guns who got shot or shot someone else prolly said the same thing when they bought it. |

Pistol grip pump shotgun, with a maglite taped to the barrel.
Fill chamber with saltrock for round 1, buckshot for round 2, and slugs for the rest. |

fu-Q, its really hard to believe that you call people idiots and morons because they say guns shouldnt be legal.
Why dont you think about it for a min or 2 instead of blindly defending yourself because you happen to like to shoot some bullets in a can every now and then. |

In 1999 guns killed 489 American children less than 15 years old. Of these gun-related deaths: 283 were homicides, 103 were suicides, 88 were unintentional and 15 were of undetermined intent. In 1999 guns killed 3,385 American children and teenagers 19 years of age and younger. Of these gun-related deaths: 2,010 were homicides, 1,078 were suicides, 214 were unintentional, and 83 were of undetermined intent. Of the 1,615 teenagers aged 15 to 19 who committed suicide in 1999, nearly two thirds (975 victims or 60 percent) killed themselves with guns. In 1998 guns were the third leading cause of death among all children aged five to 14 years old behind accidents and cancer, and the second leading cause of death for teenagers aged 15 to 19. Of the 2,113 teenagers aged 15 to 19 that were murdered in 1999, more than eight out of 10 (1,727 victims or 82 percent) were killed with guns. A 1997 CDC study that compared gun-related death rates in 26 industrialized countries among children less than 15 years old found that the gun-related homicide rate among U.S. children was nearly 16 times higher than the rate among children in the other 25 industrialized countries combined; the gun-related suicide rate was nearly 11 times higher; and the unintentional gun-related death rate was nine times higher. In 1998 guns were the third leading cause of death among all children aged five to 14 years old behind accidents and cancer, and the second leading cause of death for teenagers aged 15 to 19. Federal law mandates that a person must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun and 21 years of age to buy a handgun from a holder of a Federal Firearms License. A CDC survey of youth risk behavior revealed that in 1997 more than one in 20 high school males reported carrying a gun within the 30 days preceding the survey. A National Institute of Justice study reported that one third of juvenile arrested said they had used a gun in committing a crime. According to the FBI, between 1980 and 1997, 73 percent of male juvenile homicide offenders used a firearm. |
what that tells me is that after you find a cure for cancer and take better care of kids (ie "accidents") you can come and i will hand you my guns

This is joke right? Somebody tell me this guy is joking with his replies... |
jesus christ let the guy buy his gun for christs sakes. see that's the beauty of this country. he can if he wants. no reason to get get all worked up about it. you don't like guns don't buy one.
p.s. I still say if you really want it for home security get a shotgun. see my post above for why |

He should act like an adult and explain that he handles a gun with care instead of that he starts talking about kids dying of cancer and shit....fucked up. |

The way you talk about guns is exactly what makes me think that out of all people you certainly shoulnt be allowed to have one. Its not a toy dude...its a deadly weapon...please read those stats above again...you are part of it...maybe not active but you are a potential, just like EVERY owner of a gun. Oh and dont come up with the fact that kids are dying of cancer...i know you said that without thinking...lets forget it, just dont do it again. |
