ever seen a tornado from less than 1 mile away?
 

I have, a small one though.

Still it was one of the scariest moments in my life.

I saw a waterspout when I was 14 on lake Michigan. I was to young to be really scared.

The Red line is the path of the strongest ever recorded tornado (318MPH) from May 3, 1999. The Green path is from May 8 of this year.
Damn close calls.

Zebra, the red dot must have paid.

that's one of the things I've allways wanted to see in person.. I've seen water spouts while in a boat but they were very far away... but there something about the power of a tornado I just wanna see in person sometime.. Ofcourse I don't want to be in the path.. but would be cool to see one from a safe distance.
