MIDI is a "protocol", not a sound. you mean the old crappy 8 bit gm synthesis

almost all music that has any kind of electronics involved in it uses MIDI

ive been trying to find some of the good newer trance artists...any ideas? im diggin jimpster

I got myself a premium subscription to http://di.fm a week ago, superb 160kb/s streaming trance 24/7. Mixes I really like are dj doboy 2003 and aaraon simpson 6.1 at the moment.

I've been listening to trance from Israel, imo almost all of them are good. If you go to www.isratrance.com you will see lots of artists and samples of music. I'm sure you will find lots of new good stuff.

And there is always GMS... :thumbsup

He has a bunch of styles on both cd's. some breakbeats, hard progressive house, deep house, acid house, but mostly raw hard ass techno.

:thumbsup Carl cox is one of my favories, Ulimate B.A.S.E. is his best cd imho.
