State of the industry

Given all of the issues that have come into play in the past year i.e. acacia, new cc regs and all the like I want to know what some of you seasoned webmasters and some of you newbs think about where our industry is at now and where we are heading. If you have nothing good to say about this issue please do not bother replying.

I know some of you and I have already made a list will have nothing relevant to say so go ahead and do your thing but don?t clog this thread with mindless dribble.

If you do have something to say I am interested and want to here it or I wouldn?t have started this thread.

I hate to bring everyone down with a serious thread for a change but I do think its important that we talk about things in a forum like this one with so many people here that depend on this business as there only source of income.

So flame on if you want to but if there are no quality replies to this thread it will further let me know that most people in this game are (to quote mark tiarra)"cash rich and business foolish".

Juicy I know you are sexy and all but you are one of the people I would like to here a serious reply from.

Sleazy as a big traffic player and someone who has allot to loose what are your thoughts.

Lensman as the resident king shit I REALLY want to hear your thoughts. I know you don?t get into very many threads that you don?t start or have a vested interest in but I think it appropriate that we here from you.

The best times for this industry is definitely in the future. You ain't seen nothing yet. Of course, this depends if the Miller v. California standard still remains good law. With ole GWBush saying that he'd like to nominate a Scalia type judge to the Supreme Court, all bets are off.

The internet as a whole is still nothing what it will be in the future. The future of the industry should be pretty bright. Porn will never cease to exist unless we get a whole buncha morons in the government at the same time. (Speaking of US of course)

There's lots of technological advances that will make a new internet porn industry even better and more profitable. Visa regs/Acacia, ... this stuff happens all the time. Just gotta adapt and move on.

Sleazy has a lot to loose? Oh, you mean lose... ok, I got it.

Well, perhaps he does... but I don't think he will. The smart business men in the industry that got to be the smart business men in this industry won't suddenly lose everything... because... well, they're smart.

Sure, some might, but only if they ignore all the changes around them. Those who don't ignore them and do things properly will be here for a long time to come.

Suffering losers. No matter what you want people to belive about you the fact remains that it has become harder to make a living in this biz for newcomers. So to jump into a thread that without you might contain some useful information shows your maturity level as well as your fucked up attitude.

I hope your business is growing and doing well but for those who are trying to achive the level of greatnes you have I was trying to get some info from people who matter or at least ones i have heard of ASSHOLE.
