ps2 mod chips

Which one to take, there seem like 213987138297 different kinds of chips out there. Keep in mind:

1. i'm good behind the keyboard coding stuff , but not with soldier tools in my hand.

2. i dont want to swap discs

Anyone have experience with these chips ?

no matter what, you HAVE to solder
I have the Magic Chip 3 (which works on all models) and I think there was like 15 solder points, I took it to the tv repair shop nearby and they did it for 40$

plays EVERYTHING no swap, single boot
got 400 games and they all play fine

p.s.: those CLIPs sound like a good idea, but I hear bad things about them, just go oldsk00l! :thumbsup

There's some premod stuff out there.

I don't play video games but I've noticed that most if not all PS2's and XBoxes in the Philippines are bought premodded. Kinda makes sense, how is anyone going to afford expensive games without mods? So... boxes are premodded and you can get any ps2 game or xbox game for less than $3 in many smaller or "hood" malls.

www.modchip.com - probably the best place to buy it! It's not hard to solder either, I did my own, but I also took a electic class in 12th grade. But I'd go with them!
