Am I the onne who has friends that everytime they see a site or a new store open they say it was their idea and someone must of got a hold of an email or post they made etc?

The funny thing is they are all losers and work for someone else for $8 an hour but everything is their idea.

lots of people have the same ideas, not everyone has the resources to get those ideas off the ground

not at all but what I meant is after years of they had this idea and that idea they shouldve done something.

There are many many great concepts that where started with shoestring budgets.

yeah i can agree with that, but a lot of these people with ideas don't even know where to go to get started on developing the ideas into a reality.

I have yet to have a good idea. But as soon as I do I will retire and you never see me again.

I have a boatload of ideas but if I don't ACT on them, it doesn't mean shit.

Just like my site. I get numerous emails from people who said that they should have done what I did but they didn't for whatever reason....Then there are the idiots who try to COPY my idea since they see that I am successful at it.

I know what you mean about people who had this or that idea - Usually the only idea they really had was buying beer -

Many that have good ideas are often put off by confiding in spouses - Who generally put security first - (I did say "generally") And put to many negatives in the way of the person even trying to see the idea through -
Much in the same way a negatively thinking person would do with his own idea -

If you have a good idea and you think it has milage - Write everything down possible that is good about it - Make a plan of which way you would go about it (not considering any costs - This blights the mind)

Put the idea away for some time - After a few weeks, come back to it and read over everything you have written - If it still excites you, then find a way to do it.

It will work if you are positive it will -
It will not work if you are uncertain.

Good thing one can't patent just an idea. It's only implementations (even if it just means capturing a process on paper--Fuck you, ACACIA!:BangBang: ) that are protected by patent laws.

Any person can have an idea. The law protects the guy who actually DOES something about it. (Although I'd love to exempt Acacia from this....bloodsucking parasites!:feels-hot )
