Think they will get a good team of lawyers....

USAPrescriptions. They were selling meds without consultation and without waiting the time needed before you can refill the meds. They had been investigated before and it was only a matter of time before something went down for them.

If convicted, the defendants face sentences of at least 20 years and the forfeiture of a total of $125,000,000 in alleged profits.

They arrested a local doctor that had something to do with some online 'scrip site or another. Must be this one since I haven't heard about any other one.

WTF?! At first I thought you were refering to another company by the name of "USAPrescriptions" and not USAPrescription Inc. (www.usaprescription.com), ClickMeds.com, ect., ect.... Mainly because I knew all the sites were still up and to my knowledge they were running a legit biz. Then I remembered a newsletter I glanced over last month from USAP about a change of ownership. Just took another look at it and sure enough the previous owners name matches the one in that artical posted. It's always nice finding out the feds have collected you affiliate data associated with a pharmacy bust. Here's the last newletter I recieved from those fools...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear XXXXXXXX
,
Carleta Carolina is the new owner and CEO of USA Prescription, Inc. Carleta has been associated with USAP for quite some time and I can vouch for her both personally and professionally. Below is a message from Carleta with some very important information.

Personally, I will be around to help you for a short time while Carleta and the new team find someone to replace me. Vincent, myself, and several other key people will be in touch with other new programs unassociated with online pharmacy sales. We look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Bryan Mauger
Affiliate Director

From the Desk of Carleta Carolina
November 14, 2003

Dear Affiliates:

My name is Carleta Carolina and I am the new Owner and CEO of USA Prescription, Inc.

Vincent Chhabra and Chhabra Group will no longer be associated with USA Prescription, nor will they be providing any support or management services to USAPrescription.com or any of the other websites in the USA Prescription network. While you may notice a change in personnel and key contacts, you will not experience any disruption in services.

USAPrescription.com will continue to provide the same medications as we always have, along with new products just released.

The terms and conditions of your affiliate relationship remains the same, and affiliate payments will continue on the same schedule.

If you have any questions please contact me directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Sincerely,
Carleta Carolina, President and CEO
USA Prescription, Inc.

Classic example of the god complex. They make some big bucks on or across the legal line and get cocky. Now they stand to lose it all.

This is just the tip of the ice berg for online pharmacys. They all need to double check there business models closely.

BluntMatch 12-08-2003 12:27 PM

No, but pill traffic is so expensive.

If their money's in USA banks they're idiots. They need to first get their money out of the country, then get their own asses out of the country. With $215,000,000 they're set for life.

Those online pharmacies are a GOLD MINE. Too bad, most will be illegal in 3 years' time.

TheJimmy 12-12-2003 07:02 PM

So, is YourRXBiz safe from these issues?
