Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
 

I hate fake trees. I actually used to own a christmas tree lot. Picking out a tree was one of my favorite childhood activities.

no tree, real or fake, no plans for one either. Im the grinch lol

mine is real, just bought it @ Ikea, the tree is $15 and you get a 15 gift cert to the store, plus they donate a sapling for replanting for each tree sold. WOW what a deal everyone is a winner :thumbsup

Mine definitely has to be real also.....I love the smell of them, and the artificial ones just look so tacky to me. I actually enjoy the whole process, with keeping water in them and teking care of them, right down the big mess of needles when it's time to take it out:thumbsup

Mine is fake and it kinda makes me sad. I've always held out and had a real one because they smell so good. I got divorced last year right around Christmas so it was going to be a hassle to get someone with a truck to go with me to pick out a tree, help me cut it down, load it up, haul it home, put it up, etc. I caved and bought this really pretty 9 ft. deal. It's gorgeous and much more convenient, but still kinda sad. :(

I did buy some real garland this weekend and I have it on my mantle and some shelves, so it at least still smells like Christmas.

Nice, Fraziers are awesome. I personally prefer the Noble but they can be a bit pricey.

Fraziers are the best in the Fur category though because they last. Douglas Furs look really pretty but they fall apart.

I don't get one. I just spend christmas at a family members house! When I have a kid, I'll start to get trees, but until then, I don't want one :)

If you go somewhere like Target right after Christmas you can get some dope as trees for nothing. My parents bought a 300 dollar fake tree for only 50 bucks two days after Christmas last year.

yeah, if I get back from DC in time I plan on grabbing another tree, I got a little 4 foot tree a couple years ago since it was just me and no real need to have a big one, but mom decided to sell the house and give me all the xmas ornaments from when i was growing up. So I'll definitely need a larger tree if i decide to cart all those ornaments back down here

welp, our fake tree takes about a 1/2 hr to setup, lights and all; but we like real trees better so it depends on how enthused we get about a real tree, if we put a real one up or not.

Had to pull out the fake one this year. Saving money for the presents.

We have had a fake tree ever since my kid did a study on how many trees are being destroyed and how many houses have burned down because of real trees. She insisted so hey, I don't care.

I love the easy up and down, no needles to deal with. This is our 3rd year with a fake $ 200.00 8ft high tree, that dang thing looks better than a real one lol

At home we have a real fake tree. It stands about 2 feet high and is sitting ontop of the entertainment center. Normally we would have a real one in addition to our mini fake one, yet since we are also remodeling and our space is super limited right now. We have zero room for a real tree anywhere.

ALWAYS real. I would never buy a fake tree. A few years ago I ordered one (real) from LL Bean. The prettiest tree I've ever had, but they won't deliver it here. :(

we have one of both, i like both kinds of trees.

in the living room ( which is near the main window ) we have a real tree.

then in the family room we have a fake tree.

I would like to go real, but I have no idea where to find real trees to buy here (I moved in June) and I don't have a car.

I have a fake three foot fiber optic tree :-) I hate messing with ornaments, I just like the lights on it.
