Well, if she was sentenced to 10 years, the soonest she'd get out is 3 years. Unless there is a appeal. But other than that, most serve a third of their sentence, before released!

Well, although I feel she is not worth 100k either, there is no other realistic alternative. We cant kill her and we cant keep someone that mentally unstable out on the streets. Incarceration for her is a must, even if it makes taxes rise. This is just the world we live in.
