He is getting a cyst removed from the top of his snoot.
Not a big procedure, but at his age anything involving
anesthesia is risky. Poor ol guy doesn't know that tomorrow
is gonna be a pretty shitty day for him.

I've had geriatric animals go under anesthesia before. If there are no other major problems like diabetes, kidney, or heart problems, it's usually not a problem.

You'll be in my thoughts.

I am sure they did the blood work and tests to be sure he is healthy enough to go under. He should be fine. Those old timers are tough.

He's a lovely looking dog.. hope everything goes OK

I used to hate taking my dog to the vet!! I had an German Shephard!! She always had trouble with her ears!! She used to shake like mad when she went to the vets!! what a shame it was!!!
