this brings back many memories of my winters doing people walks, and colecting bottles in the summer,

is this something all kids do, or more kids in more urban settings,

I did the whole scoop snow / mow yards things for like 4-5 years back when I was younger. I made decent money for a 12 year old. Usually atleast got $10 for scooping a sidewalk and depending on the driveway more. Mowing was more of a money make because it was once a week job most of the times at $15-$30 per yard. Back then that was good money for being 12 heh.

Heh last winter I was living in a house with 4 other people.... we had big parties every weekend, lots of drinking during the week... So we had a lot of empties.

One day these two teenage girls come up, and apparantly are fundraising for their high school girls snowboarding team, apparantly they need money for lift passes or something, so I'm like "I snowboard... :Graucho"

Gave them the 1200 bottles or whatever we had... Made their day.

Didn't get anything in return other than like a t-shirt though :feels-hot

what kinda neighborhood averages a 10$ per walkwy,

when I did that shit, I was lucky if I got more than a buck or 2,

Dude, what kind of web pornographer are you? You should have taught the tyke it's not about the sale, it's about the recurring. Tell him to get people's CC#s and start billing them $5 a week whether it snows or not, and keep it up through the summer when they forget to cancel. Upsales too, "okay it's shoveled, but what about some salt to keep ice from forming?" Then start paying referral fees to other kids on the block to sign up other walkway owners. He'll be able to retire before he graduates high school.

Wow, that's alot of cash to be giving. I used to get $20 per month to shovel away one driveway. Back then, some time it would snow three or four time in the same week...
