I don't know about the process of bills becoming laws exactly...

But if (when) the prez signs the CAN-SPAM bill and makes it a law, will it take effect immediately? Or do they usually set a near future time for the law to start?


Between selling the DoNotCall list numbers to telemarketers (they have no choice but to buy them) and the upcoming DoNotEmail list, I think the gov will be makign up for the lost postal service revenues and then some :)

All the Do Not Email lists will do is provide confirmed addresses for spammers ;)
