Anyone here ever ate at Zankou Chicken (LA)
 
Since I'm currently based in the Philippines, I've been jonesing hard for some of that Zankou Chicken and their trademark garlic sauce. Another Los Angeles area eatery I miss.... Tommy's Original Burgers. Closest thing we have to Tommy's here is Hot Shots flame grilled burgers. Decent...but nothing can beat Mr. Tommy Koulax' original chili burgers:thumbsup

Zankou chicken is gross, but great if you are looking for a laxative. If you have a slingshot, their falafel makes an excellent self defense tool.

Ever been stuck on the 101 after some Zankou Chicken and the shittrain is full of passengers and set on a course to derail? It's not fun.

OUCH! The worst for that would be eating at Claim Jumper and having to vacate the bowels while stuck in the 405. Quite an ordeal!

Never had the problem of Zankou running straight through -- but I'll take the California Chicken Cafe instead... or Chicken on Fire down on La Cienega... :winkwink:
