She was certainly confrontational, though I think it's better business to be more professional. Usually it won't matter, but you might piss off the wrong mom and wind up with a lawsuit or criminal investigation, which would be a pain in your ass even if it was dismissed.

On the other hand, as long as you were slamming her, I think you did miss a prime opportunity to mock the kid's login id, Tattooboi420. I mean either the kid is a 16 year old tattooed pothead, or he wants to be, and either way his porn interest should be the least of her worries. I'd also be concerned that he's so ignorant that he doesn't realize the 900 charge will show up on a phone bill, and even more ignorant that he can't find free porn in the first place. Christ, 16 years old, you got all the time n the world to cruise TGPs, password sites, or scam off kazaa. If 420 boi is going to do something sneaky, he better learn to do it in a way that he won't obviously be caught.

I know I am going to get hell for this but it does no one in this biz any favours to be rude right off the bat to a complaint - even if she was being hysterical.

Kind of hard to show authorities you are trying to tackle the problem when your answer to her is that it isn't your job. I might agree but then I am not the type of person that would make a big deal about in the media. I understand the frustration but maybe just put together a form letter for next time explaining how to protect their system and where to complain about the charges.
