With all do respect, I must disagree. How can you expect to play in the National Championship game, when you wouldn't even be your conference champs? That would be like LSU losing and thinking they still deserve to go to the Sugar Bowl.

If LSU wins, at least we are conference champs.

Because the championship game teams are the BEST of the conference. They are not some team in the conference that lucked up on a win. The 2 teams are the best of the best.

Well, the Tigers are about to WIN their conference, and against a MUCH better team than OU played. So, tell me why OU deserves it more than LSU??

Georgia doesn't look like that tough of an opponent. K-State was over looked at since Roberson got hurt early in the season. they are a VERY GOOD team.

I think OU is a good team, but they don't deserve to go now. Just like in the pro's, if you don't win your own title, you don't deserve the national title.

Edit to add: Ga. doesn't look so great because they are playing LSU. We make it look easy!

BTW, Ga. was 10-2 with a schedule strength of 30.

One thing thats for sure is that White should not be a Heismen winner. Out played, underprepared, yea probably. But there is no way that he should win the Heismen, he looked like a scared high schooler out there

if there isn't an OU LSU game then the system sucks. USC lost to CAL who sucks. Only time will tell, hopefully we make it, if not its time for the Paul Thompson show along with a young defense/offense:thumbsup
