What Charity Org. is real
Anyone done any research on this?
|
Unicef is good, so are Canteen and most of the medical ones that are oriented to a specific disease. Stay away from CCF, they are blatant thieves.

I bet if charities gad refferal codes this thread would be going on page 3 now:winkwink:

http://www.uso.org - our men and women over seas could use our support http://www.toysfortots.org - gives Christmas gifts to underprivledged kids http://www.makeawish.org - grants wishes for ill children http://www.stjude.org - Children's hospital, gives lots of free medical care to kids with terminal illnesses that can't afford it http://www.diabetes.org - American Diabetes Association needs funds for research http://www.christianchildrensfund.org - Helps feed, cloth, medicate poor children http://www.redcross.org - Helps people all over the world and can always use donations http://www.aspca.org - Helping animals These are the main ones that are legit and honest (to the best of my knowledge) that I have and still do donate to :thumbsup |
When I was at varsity one of the guest speakers for one of my management lectures was an ex-managment type from christians children fund... he had an extremely low opinion of CCF, and said that 80%+ of the donations got eaten up by "administrative expenses" (ie the upper echelons' salaries and bonuses).
