the movie was made for jason and freddy fans only, because in "jason goes to hell" freddy rips jasons mask at the end.
So the fans expected a freddy vs. jason movie. and thats whats they did... 7-8 years later...which was a mistake because everybody forgot about them!!

I thought it was pretty funny.

Jason X sucked ass as well, havent seen this one, but that one sucked enough ass for two, maybe three movies.

Agreed, was is it with directors and writers these days? Seems like there isn't anyone who can release a decent horror lately. When you have people saying "The Ring" is one of the scariest movies ever then there's a serious problem.

IMO it was both one of the best 'Freddy' and one of the best 'Jason' movies ever. If you don't like Freddy/Jason movies, then why rent it? It's not supposed to be scary. It's supposed to be a bunch of dumb kids geting slaughtered in funny/creative ways by cool villains. Fuck all this (predictable) late-90s "I wonder who the killer is?" shit. Some people just can't appreciate a good 80's-style gore fest. Personally I missed these kind of movies. Glad to see it made lots of $$$.

I eat up all these cheesy horror/slasher movies. I watched "Wrong Turn" last night on satellite and I thought it was pretty funny too. Nothing beats inbred, cannibalistic mountain men.

I thought Jason X and Freddy vs Jason were both pretty damn funny, but Jason X was the funnier of the two. The scene at the lake where Jason was beating one girl with the other girl in the sleeping bag was just hilarious! They were making fun of the first Jason movie, and that made it even more funny.

only good thing about that movie is the mushroomhead song on the soundtrack.

It wasn't that bad. I like how they kind of kept it old school.

The ring is one of the best. It was a remake of a Japanese version called Ringu. That little girl was fuckin' scary.

I thought "The Other" with Nicle Kidman was a pretty good suspense too.

Yeah I made the mistake of watching that too... It's the 2nd worst movie, next to Legally Blonde 2
