which one should I choose? virtual or dedicated? and why?

Simple, loads of traffic to galleries = Dedicated
Not so much traffic to galleries = Virtual

Phatservers has a great in-between solution for a gallery server... its a "shared dedicated" account. They guarantee no more than 2 (i think) accounts per machine...

Lower cost like a virtual account but you get the reliability of a dedicated machine plus grade-A customer service.

Go dedi bro, and buy something like a box at rackshack or servermatrix. Lotsa traffic, less cash :)

We have a 4 and a 6. I usually start new TGP guys with these and 90% of the time they graduate to a dedicated.

For this particular situation, I'd recommend a dedicated right away. I'm selling a bunch of gallery boxes right now, I'd really like to dump them off before Christmas. So if anyone is interested, I've got 10mbps for $450.

Too many variables man. Do you have partner accounts? How often will you be listed? Are your galleries good? Etc.
