I'm new to the whole google thing and my site is just a hub site but i was thinking of adding a few more page's to it and making it more of a link side or something ... I DUNNO :( help MEEE

there's just been another pr update
I just notice the google has updated pr again. Happily, www.jays-xxx-links.com went back up to PR6. I was kind of dissapointed last month when it fell to pr5 again, and there's a lot of things that I've done to that site that make me feel it definently deserves its PR6. Even better, a lot of the inside categories have risen to an, unheard of pr5! and some of them to even pr6! Which is great news for my internal hits and for those of you who have your sites listed with me because the pr will be passed along to your site.

It's only 10am, but I think I'm going to start drinking to celebrate.

I just got 25k listings across 40 domains that were never in google before, but none of them show PR. How long does it take?

Excuse my ignorance but whats in it for you besides a higher number on google toolbar?

I never understand the hype about high pr sites.

A higher PR gets you listed higher under whatever search term you are listed for.

however some of the trades we did a trade on are PR6 now
so maybe i helped a little bit getting your PR6 back hehe

The best way to do it is to trade different links, dont linkback thru the same pr site, link back thru another :thumbsup Like if google see's it as a link trade both sites linking to each other it knows it so its better to link to a site that doesnt have your link on it , instead use another site for the linkback .

If your rank was #2 for a certain keyword and you both were pr5's and you move up to a pr6 then you will be #1 .

Its not that hard to figure out.

It gets a little trickier if lets say you were not quite as keyword dense to google as another site but you have a higher pr. Sometimes you score higher sometimes you score lower

That's how I do 99% of my trades and I've been one of the biggest proponets of that method.

As long as the sites are revelvant to one another, linking together is ok. IMO

My google traffic's been steady through all the shit lately. All my pr's are still the same, a few 3, mostly 5 and a few 6's.

I did notice one PR6 fitness site I have has gone grey bar. Probably just because the PR is updating. Last time that happened it was a PR5 and a little while later it went right back to showing PR5.
