i wanted to play so fucking bad, downloaded demo and it didnt work so i just went and bought it.

fucker isnt working! I think my video memory is too low to play.

Took a week to load, then the game is playing so choppy it isnt even enjoyable.

i have a 1.6ghz, 512mb RAM, 200gig HDD, and a 52x drive

only thing i havent upgraded is the damn video card, but this HP is only like 8 months old, didnt they give you enough video memory when you buy these new?

the tower says i have 32mb of video memory, isnt this enough?

Nah, if you don't have a lot of cash to spend try a GeForceFX 5200 (Like $75 now) or if you have the cash and wanna go all out get an ATI Radeon 9800.

Get a 128MB or something and it will run well. They aren't all that expensive now either, so don't worry.

isnt there a setting in windows to allow video to share some memory (virtually) ?

check your drivers, check what the game is using, if its using software or hardware.. a few different things to look at.

Stores just love it when you try to return opened software. You ain't getting your money back.

I have the same computer - 1600+ Mhz, etc. It loads in 2-3 minutes. No trix... Video is 64MB though :winkwink:

to play the game you gotta have a geforce 2 or better. I run it off a geforce4 ti4200 64meg card and it runs pretty smoothly. I bought the card just to play this game. Believe me, it is worth the extra money. If you have the chance to get a better card I would do it. Also, download Desert combat, it makes the game so much better. The original is cool, but DC rules.
