Have you ever considered....

Spamming the people that spam you? You have no idea how many times I have comsidered spamming these fuckers back. First of all, I am female. I DONT NEED A FUCKIN PENIS ENLARGEMENT!

These emails are quite annoying and they dont send justone either. Its email after email after fuckin email. I've tried blocking them but nothing works.

I think its time to fight back.

SPAM THE SPAMMERS!!

Who's with me??

Zorgman 12-05-2003 06:44 AM

Spammers don't use their real emails. They use someone elses so they don't get anyone bitching at them. :1orglaugh

Yeah you would probably end up emailing some poor saps real email address which was faked and just have more crap to deal with as a result.

Herb Kornfield 12-05-2003 06:46 AM

Actually, I have spammed back my ICQ spammers. I start a conversation with them asking all about their products they are spamming, this always gets a live mornon instead of a bot.

Then, I do nothing but ask them for free advertising of MY programs on their sites.

So far, got free advertising on 5 new webmaster boards this week which already has increased MY traffic......

grumpy 12-05-2003 06:46 AM

i always send back a thousand mails of 2.5Mb
That keeps them busy :-) I send them to the sponsor and reseller if i can trace them.

Heather Hamptons 12-05-2003 06:47 AM

I nkow I know its just a real pain in the ass. I go to sleep and when I wake up I have 200 new emails. Half of them are spam.

Its very frustrating. THere has got to be a way to get them and I will find a way.

Im on a mission!

Heather Hamptons 12-05-2003 06:49 AM

lol grumpy.

That's funny. Sell their email addy's to a third party. Let these other people spam them and get risk the hassle while you sit back and reap the benifits. I like the way you think :)

Yngwie 12-05-2003 06:53 AM

I know the feeling. When I wake up and check my mail I have like 500 emails and 98% are spam. then during the day I get another 300 to 600 emails all of which are spam for the exception of the TGP confirmation/approval emails. This is the same every fucking day! The most common one recently is paris hilton.. really starting to piss me off. I don't give a rats ass if she has a sex tape.. she can keep it.. I don't want the peice of shit.. Then we have the breast enlargment shit.. Im a guy, I don't have tits lol.. then we have vicoden, penis pills, penis patches and so on. even an email address that I have NEVER used even once at one place gets 150 spams a day...

xenigo 12-05-2003 06:54 AM

Yeah, I fired back 40,000 emails with same message the spammer sent me originally... my host shut me off and banned me because they said I was the one spamming, and they had no record of the other guy.

Heather Hamptons 12-05-2003 07:00 AM

Sounds like its time to start an Anti Spamming alliiance. There has got to be a way to fire back without being caught. There is always a way. Technology is great but it isnt perfect. There is always a loop hole.

If any of you find it before I do, please let me know.

It really amazes me though. You dont just get spammed through emails, its you Instant messenger as well. How do these IM bots find you? I dont go into chat rooms so I dont understand.

Its a consipracy I tell you lol

sixxxth_sense 12-05-2003 07:06 AM

TIP: Most of them will stop sending you mail if you follow the "Remove me from the list link" located on 95% of the spammers e-mails.

Ur all just a buch of lazy fucks and blocking that shit wont work!

Heather Hamptons 12-05-2003 07:09 AM

Ive tried that too. Doesnt work. I gave up on that. A few months ago I tried the "click here to be removed" bullshit and I clicked a few. Needless to say, the link didnt bring me to a remove page, it tried to give me a virus. Thank god for McAfee and Adaware.

Would this be the email in question?

Heather Hamptons 12-05-2003 07:35 AM

Wow thats funny. Did it take you a long time to think that up?

Thanks douche bag but I dont spam people.

LadyMischief 12-05-2003 07:40 AM

One of the people on my mailing lyst sends them invoices for the resources they used to send the spam, because his server relays it to list members. You wouldn't believe how many of them have actually paid up, too.

Exactly. Once they know you are a real person with an active email address you'll get 10 times the spam.

Hey sixxxth_sense..... good plan buddy :thumbsup

msg 12-05-2003 08:09 AM

some people honor removes, others dont..

Gemini 12-05-2003 08:31 AM

Just collect the emails from the same IPs and send them in bulk to the host... in waves. :winkwink: You know how emails sometimes get lost? Make sure it doesn't by sending them 1000 copies or so. :1orglaugh

you actually think you get removed? Think again. You're simply telling them that YOUR email is an active one and they will then send you more junk over and over. We're not lazy and we aren't stupid. You go ahead and click those links to be "removed" I'm not gonna do that.

Ummmmmmmmmm

A few million people already beat ya to the alliance, it's called SpamCop but even they have come over to the dark side now I think since it sold lol

Secondly, you're email is getting hammered because it's published on several web pages. There's no way to block it now.... for every hole that's plugged, a new one is opened.

Also, spamming the spammers back is a waste of time considering spammers do not use their real emails, IPs or return addys. You're more likely to hit an unknown address and get even more bounced mail back or piss off someone who they are posing as.

As far as IM spam, you're getting spammed because you have a profile or info filled out. That's all it takes... you don't need to be in a chat room.

Lastly... WoW! :eek7 you junior anti!!! :321GFY
Let someone mail your site for a day and I'm sure you'll be singing a different tune :glugglug

PS. spamtec (ytcracker and phlow) - what is spam? Have a listen! :winkwink:

Strike that....... you meant to say "a few people honor removes, most don't".... right? And, how can you trust ANY of them when so many use your "remove" request as a green light to spam the fuck out of you further?

Trust me on this one..... only click "remove" if you KNOW the company or one of it's reps. If possible, contact them directly and request removal. As for the rest...... basically just hit delete and set up some message rules to filter out most of your spam and reroute it to the shit bin. (aka: deleted items folder)
