Googlebot is crawling all over my server... good or bad?

Bad.

my sites are getting hit by it too...


i wanna know who came to my site from Estonia.. I thought that was just a mde up country from Encino Man

It's been crawling and indexing my pages like 3k at a time over the past week or so. Doesn't seem to be penalizing.

I was just concerned cause its hitting several times per second, spread out across my domains

Ok now i have pages and pages of googlebot scrolling up the screen, i'm doing tail -f on my logs and watching it happen

Same shit happened to me, probably gonna see a few thousand pages indexed within a few days.

I hope google doesnt figure out that there is no end to all those links and just dump it all

He has been hitting me for the last 5 days at least. The peak was 2+3 (same amount spidered both days) days ago.

Weirdness for sure...I'm killin it in quite a few of my terms I hope they aren't teasing me...

3 #1's and nothing over 50...please please please.

Never had, or even tried to do google
my first attempt was tonight, and within an hour it assaulted my server and its still going

sometimes I got tons from a few thousand other times I got few hundred from having over 100,000 REAL pages indexed

it all depends on the keywords and your PR :thumbsup

How do you know if it has been crawling your domains?

Because it says googlebot :) in your stats.

Or you just watch your server and see it.

my god, you need to stop that thing before it harvests all your free porn!

do anything you can to block googlebot right this second.
