sales21@epassporte stolen card users

[email protected]

Sent me e-passporte in the amount of $400.00 on August 27th. Epass has of course locked the account.

Sites they run include http://www.clubsandy.com and http://www.21sextury.com/ as well as http://www.pixandvideo.com/

They process with ccBill ( 923935 ) iBill ( 122370 ) and Verotel ( 9804000000415983 ) .

Does anyone have any other information on them at all ?

I should proceed to begin notifying their processors, what do you think ?

Thx,

AST

Oh, FYI ..

One of their employees is named Barnabas.

Im not following.

You got sent $400 from a company and epassporte locked your account ?

Or you got sent $400 and they charged it back ?

Or ?

Kimmykim 12-04-2003 05:57 PM

I'm a hair confused myself but I figure we'll hear the rest of the story shortly.

According to epass, they used a stolen card to load their account. They then pushed the stolen money to me to buy traffic. The legitimate cardholder then noticed a charge on their card, and went to their bank.

You cannot charge back an e-pass push, or not to my knowledge, anyhow.

E-pass has unlocked my account after I got the right person on the phone.

Why 12-04-2003 06:17 PM

thats why i dont use epassporte, if they can scrub thier loads well enough to keep that from happeneing. it should come out of thier pocket. not mine.

How would you be confused? Isn't this policy when the company fails to scrub a card? Lock the user's account, they take the loss.

Amparo unlocked it so I could find more about this asshole.

That's why I dumped Stormpay, and later also PaySystems.

Fuck it. I'll scrub my own. At least with Paysystems, I have the data to begin scrubbing.

I have my own merchant account. Is a hot one gets through, then that's my problem. I suspect it'll be a rare occasion.

Ian, shut up. You used to be such a nice guy, now you're turning into a twit. I won't waste this space with examples either.

Yep, I was confused, the way you originally phrased the post left me wondering what exactly was the fraud, and who it involved. It could have been a program owner paying you a payout, it could have been someone paying you for anything.

ePassporte is VERY difficult for a consumer to charge back when it's a legitimate charge. No one, including ePassporte, is going to be able to stop a credit or a chargeback if a consumer has a real situation where the card was used fraudulently.

And I don't care how good your fraud scrubbing is, if you want transactions to go thru then there will be times when some slip in that shouldn't. Otherwise you can decline everything and not generate any sales. Doesn't make me happy but such is life.

Well your account is back at least , if you were using paypal you would be filling out mounds of paperwork by now and your account would take ages to get back into. . Im a little concerned about forwarding that chargeback to the third party though, as you pointed out you cannot reneg on the service you already provided as its alreadys been used.

Actually any time there is suspicious activity the account(s) in question are reviewed and where necessary suspended until it's sorted out. Doesn't happen often, but it is done to protect all parties involved.

Seems fair and as the account was re-opened very quickly i think it beats all the others hands down. You have to admit , go with any other e-biller and you would still be filling out forms and under "review".

Yep, you're right. I just love doing business with Amparo, she's top class.

I already have a FL phone number for this asshole, and I called his wife/gf and told her he needs to wire me $400.00 tonight or I'm going after everything I can find on him, including his fake whois info.

I'll pressure them to suspend his domains until the chargebacks kill his fucking 3rd party processing.

Now that I know they have a US presence, it's wide open.

Kimmy, I sorta have a system for scrubbing my cards. Either I know them previously, or they get a phone call.

I can't take 3rd party processing dropping the ball. Seems they want their money back for the mistake they made and I still am out for the delivery.

Like, $800.00 this time around.

yo KimmyKim hit me up in ICQ.

10638430 think it's on your list already.

Just use your merchant account next time and you won't run into this crap. Hopefully you have access to check and see if the street address matches the card. Then match the phone number to the house.

The domain names you posted sent off red flags in my mind anyway.

He didn't use a credit card with me, he used e-pass. I don't think I process their cards anyway.

What about the domains? Please enlighten me.

An update.

The program owner and I have been in phone contact, as well as we both have been in contact with Amparo at paycom.

There is going to be a swift resolution to this incident. If you have done business with this company, please follow up with Amparo specifically. She is the only one who has complete data.

There are other service providers currently involved.

If you need help, contact me privately. I will help you.
