....is about to be on Fox News. She is surfing again.

It seems that shes taken a tragic event and making the best of a bad situation. Good for her.

If this is the same gal I saw on the news, she was attacked by a shark :( so sad!

I guess she was quite a promising 'up and comer' in the surfing circuit...

let's hope she still is :)

About that i saw someone who told, that the surfer boards, produce an underwater effect (Sounds and shape) making the sharks perceived it like it was a seal ... That why the often attack directely from under. I think they made some boards to reduce that effect.

Whether the sharks are getting wiser about it is another matter. Poor girl...at least it didn't bite her spirit.

...tho she's a bit wobbly.
