Anyone ever get those huge zits that are more like boils?
I think im developing one on my chin... what should I do?
Knife it? Will it scar me? :( |
Well you may want to get it checked out to make sure it's not a boil....since boils tend to be caused by a virus in the system if you don't get antibiotics for it you can get them quite easily elsewhere.
|
I don't get zits but the best way to avoid that shit is keep your face clean deep down. Clean & Clear daily pore cleanser does the trick.

antibiotics are for bacteria... they do not effect viri. |
if you get a zit just pee on it a few times a day. It'll be gone in under a week.
|
Buy zit cream.
|
great, so from the GFY suggestions so far I will be walking around with a urine covered red lump with white creme on it.
Sweet.... I'm gonna go pick up chicks tonight. |

a couple of years ago I had zits on my back and heard on a talk show that if you urinate into a cloth and wipe it on your pimples they'll go away so I did it everyday and 4 days later they were all gone. Morning piss is best cuz it's strongest. |

It could be a spider bite too. Anything like that on the face should be looked at by the Doc. If you let poison loose that close to your brain you could be dead real soon. lol
On the up side... the hubby had a wolf spider jump in his face when he was working in a crawl space.. bounced off his chin and he thought nothing of it after he smashed it to nothingness. (hates spiders) Two days later he was in a Dr's office (hates those more than spiders but rarely smashes them) Anyhow, he had a golf ball sized swelling that the Dr mentioned if he had broken it himself could have been the end of the play. ;-) Knowing how the reaction might turn out if things were mentioned before any procedures were to happen, the Doc turned around with one of those large bore needles in his hand and stuck it in that bite. Purple poison hit the ceiling. So I recommend a cameraman goes with you! I got this from his ex... *I* would have had a camera just to capture this man being *IN* a Doctors vicinity let alone the actual office! But some forms of pimples-acne-boils are really dangerous too. And your face scars easily. Better to make sure of what you're dealing with and have it done right the first time around. Better broke than dead eh? :Graucho |

Actually the plural for virus is virii 2 i's |
It could be an ingrown hair, that got really infected.
If you want to pop it, keep applying warm clothes on it, it will eventually make it erupt and drain... have to be careful you don't give yourself an unsightly scar though. Other than that... Use oil free antibacterial face soap at least twice a day, it will dry your face but it's much better than using regular soap that contains oils. Don't touch it or play with it... the oils on your hands will make it worse. Apply Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 with Benzoyl peroxide, this will dry it out and clear it up. It will probably go away on it's own as long as you wash your face regularly... putting rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will also help dry it out too. |

It could be Necrotizing fasciitis or flesh eating disease which is caused by a number of different bacteria, one of them being the group A streptococcus.
You better get your ass down to the emergency right now! |
I like the suggestion of pissing on it. made me laugh at least.

What's the Plural of `Virus'? The plural of virus is neither viri nor virii, nor even vira nor virora. It is quite simply viruses, irrespective of context n. pl. vi·rus·es |
