Uhmm... Tricky question...
I've just checked my stats from november as a whole and I found out that I'm making less than $0.04 per click through on TGP traffic.
So I started checking previous month's numbers and found out that this was one of my best ratios so far. I've NEVER made more than 4cents per click through.... Am I doing something wrong here? I mean, I see sponsors paying up to 6cents per click through and not demanding ANY convertions ratio! Why is that? (ok, I know that I'll get answers like "they shave", but what about Amateur Money program, do they shave also?) I'm thinking to myself: if I create a nice gallery and submit it to my TGP list I'm able to get 2.000+ hits to my sponsors, at the current ratio I'm barely making $75 and if I change to Amateur Money, for example, won't I make more than $120 guaranteed??? Am I totaly wrong here? |
TGP traffic is on the way out ...

Most click through proggies count 2nd page clicks.

I also know that Gamacash pays up to 5 cents a click... I'll check their rules right now.... |
Yes I am 99% sure that AP counts second page, as do pretty much all per click sponsors (I don't use any myself). There is just too much opportunity for abuse - otherwise everyone would be lining up to send them a million chinese free hosts hits a day.

.04 off tgp is good
i can't make .05 off se traffic :) |
IMO per click isn't such a good way to measure success, because it's impossible to market the different sites in exactly the same way, and there are too many variables in how you send traffic to a sponsor... I think $/total uniques through your system or to a particular ad page is a better way, although $/click is a good rough guide.

BTW: How are you making ANY money if you are getting less than .05 off se traffic?? |
Well I'll tell you this...since I run amateurmoney.
With the new economics of the industry, you must earn that .06. If you want to pawn off your traffic chances are you'll get a month or two on us but we're going to ask you to buck up or switch to per join. Think of joining a new program as entering into a business partnership. The idea that you can send us substandard traffic and get paid guaranteed easy as that...I'd say that's not the proper way to enter into a partnership. Now if you want to enter into a relationship with the understanding that I will put forth the effort to give you the tools to succeed and learn and improve the quality of the traffic and you just need to compromise and work with me...then that's the way to enter into a biz relationship. What I'm saying is...if you want to begin in earnest to increase the worth of your traffic, and you need a sponsor that can help you along that path, I'm hear to help you. But if you aren't interested in improving and are simply searching for someone to dump the traffic onto, look elsewhere. I've helped many affiliates bring their numbers up not just in our program but accross the board. I've helped people put themselves through college, I've helped people to gain a better understanding of salesmanship, I've also told people, "There's no help for you." Read THIS THREAD and contact me, we'll talk and see if we can get you on the road to a higher traffic worth. |
