Thinking of moving? I have the house for you

If you're thinking of moving, consider Canada....

<a href="http://www.cyberdogsonline.com/4sale/" TARGET="_blank"><img SRC="http://www.cyberdogsonline.com/4sale/reghome03a.jpg" border=0>
Check this house out here</a>

It's in South-central Ontario, about 2 hours northeast of Toronto, smack in the heart of good hunting, fishing, and boating. The price is actually $199k Canadian (not $209k). This is a lot of house/property for that price.

This was my uncle's house, but he passed away over a year ago..... he was a clean freak who had impeccable taste in fixtures etc. If you're interested at all, hit that contact page on the site.

:thumbsup

Spunky 12-03-2003 12:56 PM

Nice looking home..That would probably cost 300 k plus here

jimmy3way 12-03-2003 12:56 PM

It's nice enough but...it's in CANADA.

AaronM 12-03-2003 01:00 PM

jact 12-03-2003 01:01 PM

Holy shit, that house isn't 20 minutes from me!

Well, you're right. I mean, if you're not into clean air, good fishing, great hunting, quiet country living yet near enough to a major center like toronto, well.... this probably wouldn't be the ideal thing for you then.

heh heh.

All that's great but I'm assuming this means all your neighbours would be CANADIANS.

Not all, but mostly. Many Americans have relocated up that way because they have come to love the fishing and hunting etc and they owned cottages up there anyway.... so moving there wasn't a big leap.

HOWEVER, Canadians are generally very friendly, caring, generous and easy to get along with by nature. I'm getting the distinct feeling you dislike those qualities.

Wow beautiful.. I know that property too! And as for good hunting and fishing, you are 100% right. There are HUNDREDS of lakes with fantastic fishing up here, and the hunting is second to none, I've heard. Aside from that being one of the prettiest properties on that stretch of highway.

rooster 12-03-2003 01:15 PM

how come its taken so long to sell

GTS Mark 12-03-2003 01:16 PM

Nice house Cdsmith, but it's honestly in the middle of nowhere. If it was closer to a major city I would grab it in a second!

DH

P.S. Sorry to hear about your uncle

My aunt & uncle from Toronto have been trying to sell it, and the realtor they had working on the account did nothing for a year..... So I took over a few duties, and one of them was to make that little website for them. They also now have a new agent handling the account, and have lowered the price a bit. This is a steal.

And DH, it is close to Peterborough, and is only a few hours drive from Toronto. It's in the exact RIGHT spot. You should check it out further bro.

CDSmith 12-03-2003 02:01 PM

Uh oh, 12clicks is looking at it now. He's a hunter, and isn't afraid to tackle a 2,000 lb Canadian moose.

Seriously, this house is a palace. And yes, you'll get free health care in Canada :D

phogirl69 12-03-2003 02:46 PM

Houses SMALLER than that go for 400-450k here in Orange County in Socal. A house like that would go for over $500k here where I live. I don't even live in the nice part of OC (like on that tv show "The OC" in Newport) In Newport Beach it would be close to a mil I think.

Furious_Female 12-03-2003 03:02 PM

Nice house... would be double that price here in NY. Would make a lovely vacation home to someone in the US as well. Put it on eBay property listings... :thumbsup

Sly_RJ 12-03-2003 03:08 PM

Places like that don't exist here. BUT, they do back home and that price seems about right. The land is what would close the deal for me.

What summer? Those 3 months a year?
The chicks ought to be hot with the freezing weather for most of the year But I won't say: move to Australia - it's getting crowded here and expensive...

You haven't heard? In Ontario it is legal to go topless. Canadian girls love to uncover themselves in the summer, because for 5 months out of the year it's shiver time.

Btw, this house and property looks like a fairytale postcard in winter. If you were ever thinking of starting a bed & breakfast, this is it. It don't get no better'n this.
