Not all, but mostly. Many Americans have relocated up that way because they have come to love the fishing and hunting etc and they owned cottages up there anyway.... so moving there wasn't a big leap.

HOWEVER, Canadians are generally very friendly, caring, generous and easy to get along with by nature. I'm getting the distinct feeling you dislike those qualities.

Wow beautiful.. I know that property too! And as for good hunting and fishing, you are 100% right. There are HUNDREDS of lakes with fantastic fishing up here, and the hunting is second to none, I've heard. Aside from that being one of the prettiest properties on that stretch of highway.

People up here are really nice!

My aunt & uncle from Toronto have been trying to sell it, and the realtor they had working on the account did nothing for a year..... So I took over a few duties, and one of them was to make that little website for them. They also now have a new agent handling the account, and have lowered the price a bit. This is a steal.



And DH, it is close to Peterborough, and is only a few hours drive from Toronto. It's in the exact RIGHT spot. You should check it out further bro.

Houses SMALLER than that go for 400-450k here in Orange County in Socal. A house like that would go for over $500k here where I live. I don't even live in the nice part of OC (like on that tv show "The OC" in Newport) In Newport Beach it would be close to a mil I think.

Nice house... would be double that price here in NY. Would make a lovely vacation home to someone in the US as well. Put it on eBay property listings... :thumbsup

Places like that don't exist here. BUT, they do back home and that price seems about right. The land is what would close the deal for me.
