Applying to Law School?
I've been kicking around the idea. I'm thinking about it no so much for the money or "prestige" but to gain a better understanding of copyright law.
Anyone else here thinking of going? or are attorneys by training already? Need tips on the LSAT and the Bar exam. |
Don?t worry about the bar exam it is too far away, and it is very different from LSAT. For the LSAT buy a good self study book and work on it whenever you have some free time.

I got my JD in 99, and am currently studying for the Oregon bar exam. :throwup Intellectual property classes are generally an elective. Law school is mostly about all the bar tested subjects, trial practice, legal writing and a few electives toward the end. A lot of people think law school allows you to "specialize" in a particular field, but all that occurs afterwards.
Pick up any LSAT prep book for a few tip and tricks, but there's not too much you can do. It tests innate reading comprehension and logic skills. About the best thing you could do is take a bunch of practice tests and read a lot to sharpen your skills. |
Try Kaplan, and other prep courses out there.
