When was the last time you took a day off?
 

I'm just curious.. when was the last time everyone here took a day off completely from anything work related?

For me, I don't even remember.. months and months.

every weekend i go to the beach and go whoring with my friends... but i always check mail and icq and spamservers....

I still check my icq and email and such. I like to work weekends too.

I don't recall the last time I did not check stats or ... yeah. I don't think ever.

everytime I am out of office for whole day (shooting for ex.) I got like 50 ICQs + bilions of emails so I can't afford even 1 day off.
Seriously, this monday - I was feeling tired like a dog

I think it was a tuesday.

I tried to go on a week long cruise last week (first real vacation in years) and ended up spending a few hundred $$ on internet connections!!:1orglaugh

At least I made a couple months worth of $ that week in new contracts to justify it!... and, hey, wouldn't that make it a "business trip tax write-off"??

It's soooo hard to take that much time off when your business and reputation depend so much on personal contacts and responding to inquiries asap. At least when I go to Internext, I know most of the industry is there too!

Been 2 and a half years for me. The time I went to the Bahamas and didnt take my laptop. I had a good time but kept wondering if my servers were down.

I guess before the internet and before computers. It's 24/7/365, don't know what a day off is :(

You hit it, workaholic right here. I took 5 hours off while travelling to LA last weekend and another 5 hours travelling back. Does that count as taking a day off?

..after my day off i went back to work with a clear head and i felt like i got a lot more done...
I think i might try making it a regular thing ...lol...

It's been a few weeks... But Christmass is a good time to get away from the business :)

August - I was at the Philadelphia Folk Fest for 3 days of nuttin but music and the wildest party out there.

my wife FORBID me to talk about work.....
