My first site is complete!
 

Well almost, I'm working on the merchant account now and am kinda stumped on what should go in the multimedia area. Please take a look I would appreciate any feed back. If you want to login and view the way the sets are laid out for members (I'd like your feed back on this also) the info will be up for a day or so:

ps: I don't have the Luisa set online yet, I'm still working on it. So it will lead to a 404 if you try to login and view the set.

Umm... no offence but I think it sucks.

Loads really slow...don't like having to scroll to the right...get more content.

If you click on any of the Menus, then click again on the 'top' of the menu you get a 404 error.

It's a mouse over menu, it drops down to the subcatagories. The main subject is just a blank.htm

Then what exactly are you trying to show us?

the members area is the same as the main page, and it sucks.. no graphics, pics, or anything, its just a boring menu

ahh i tried to view some content and it asked me to login again now im stuck in an endless loop of a login prompt.

hmmm, what's the purpose of the site?

Guys stop making fun of him.. He did a good job.. He made a menu, very few of you can make a menu, he did a good job!

lol, I forgot a site had to have two different interfaces and have a bunch of useless shit members pay for content not your design. I tried to make it simple to navigate. The surfer is never more than three clicks away from what they are looking for. :2 cents:

Dont listen to these people!
your effort is good, site is clean and simple which is good try having a background to make it look more alive,
your a content site so your success will rely mostly on your content, who you have etc,and the prices, and if its interesting your design isnt that important.

I don't see any 2257 info.

Personally I take one look at those dropdown menus and leave a site immediately, I loathe them.

Best of Luck! I didn't check it out, but love hearing about people launching new business......its inspiring!

I see that man, but it's still poor form to have it go to a blank page or 404. Might as well link it to a 'main' category page for each menu. Or disable the link completely.

Thanks, good point I will do this now.

It's confusing and generally suckful, IMO. From a useability perspective menus that look and feel static are much more user friendly, even if they're actually dynamically generated.

Maybe it would be better if I took away the one second mouse off delay?

One other thing..the picture of the hut.. doesnt exactly give me the feel of a "village" lol

Few more things... The table on your 'models' page doesn't fit on a 1024x768 screen. I'd keep all the tables on the pages the same size too. Probably the same size as your menu.

Also try to put some picture content, thumbnails or something, into the spotlight, at least to your main (the news) page.
