new spam via AIM?

AOL System Msg: Your screen name (IntenseCash) is now signed into AOL(R) Instant Messenger (TM) in 2 locations. Click "here" for more information.
*** Auto-response sent to AOL System Msg: I am currently away from the computer.

I looked at where the "here" link was directed:
http://aim.com/password/routing

P.S. I took out the last extention. So it should be a 404 error

your screenname was signed into a anothher loaction

It was signed on an aim account ( if you are using aol ) or it was signed on an aol account if you where using aim.

Spam? What?

IntenseCash 12-01-2003 05:01 PM

why would I get a message saying I was signed on under 2 locations? its impossible, if one signed on... it would boot the other computer signed on. why does it say password/routing?

Dont you find that a little suspicious?

It means both the AOL and the AIM are signed on. Happens to me all the time when I sign onto AOL or something. Pretty annoying.

you can now sign on aim twice at the same time.. so you can sign on at home.. and leave it signed on and sign on at work and it won't bump the other screenname off.. just both locations will recieve the ims

witht he new recent changes with aim you can log into the same aim account twice from diffrent connections aswell
