One year I received Godiva chocolates from 3 or 4 different programs. I had about 20 lbs of chocolate in the house. It was insane.

Someone needs to make a list of common items sent, then each sponsor selects what item they're going to send so there aren't any duplicates. (I'm kidding of course.)

In years past, I've received everything from live lobsters and filet mignons, gift certificates for stores and restaurants and even a few glass cats ( some people know I collect them ). Of course there are tons of food baskets of all types.

I think the one item that stands out the most is a crystal decanter that HiRise (MikeAI and the crew) sent via Tiffanys. Only thing in my life that I've ever received in one of those little blue boxes.

To me, a personalized handwritten card is usually more meaningful than the gift. A gift is great too but I usually value the sentiment of the card more so. This year I've been on an electronics craze, I wanna get a PS/2 finally and lots of games. I got a nice little setup at the office now to play games, why I got it, who knows, that's the end of my SE career once I get the PS/2 :)
