Happy DeathsGiving!

So as it turns out my friend was walking around on thursday and literally dropped dead right there where he was walking. I mean just dead in his tracks. Walking one second and the next second, dead on the ground.

I guess they said it was a severe massive heart attack. Must have been pretty bad to kill him so fast. But such is life I guess. We're all going to die, but damn.

The only two things we all have in common is we were all born and we will all die.

Nbritte's dad passed away yesterday, may he rest in peace.

My grandfather died on Thanksgiving day a few years ago. I didn't even know he died. He had been sick and in his room for several months prior to his death. And on Thanksgiving we were all eating and talking (traditional stuff) and I asked if anyone was going to take him some food, and they told me he died that morning. But EVERYONE was eating and carrying on like nothing had happened. I've got a strange family I guess. We've never really bothered mourning too much for the dead, I'm not sure why.

They said my grandfather had my grandmother call all my aunts and uncles including my old man, and when they all got there he said good bye and died. And that was that. We were all eating dinner that evening as if nothing had happened.

As for my friend, he didn't really have time to call anyone I guess. Dead. He was a man-child. Literally. He was a full grown man, but had the mind of like an 8 year old. We called him "Rocket-Boy". He used to wear a cape and dance around in his underwear and he loved porn stars.

Happy DeathsGiving.

The title of this thread sounds like the name of a Gothic Core band

I was debating if I should call it "Happy DeathsGiving" or "Did anyone else get a dead friend for thanksgiving"

I flipped the mental coin and "happy deathsgiving" won.

not so bad.... there's much worse ways to go. Dropping dead instantly sounds preferable to me than burning alive or something.

anyhoo... my condolences.

I've seen my own death.. many times. I've had a dream of me dying in a violent car crash, many times.

many, many, many times.
