Those of you who do adult sites full time...

My sites do well for a pretty nice part time income, but I want to do this full time. I was wondering, how much money did you have to invest until your sites started generating enough revenue to allow you to quit your day job? thanks :thumbsup

Changes with each person really. Got to ask yourself, how much money you are making at your other job? Will you be able to make that doing porn full time? Just a few off the top of my head. I plan on going full time starting in May when I move and quit my other job.

really depends on the type of biz you are working at.....obviously content is a huge money suck and conversly working the SE's simply takes sweat equity but very little capital investment....

what type of biz are you planning to run?

Depends on what amount of income you are used to.

This is a question where it completely depends on each person.. if you're 22 and just finished university and have a shitty barely over minimum wage job, well you should be able to cover that income fairly easily. But if you're 40, have a wife and a couple of kids and a $70k/year salary.. then you better be damn sure you know what you're doing

its all within your reach..............

It's not a question of dumping money into it., you have to be good at it, and have some money for backing.

10 to 1000K

strobi 12-01-2003 09:10 AM

at least make sure you make 3 to 4 times as mutch as your day job. Adult is a risky businness and you're throwing away your carreer if you only make like 5K$/month

??? 5K net a month net, how much does one earn in the States? I mean average wages are around $1250-$1500 a month net (we pay a lot of taxes and we don't have to pay for private health care, school and pensions) Really like to know.

When I start doing adult full time, does my grammar and spelling automatically start to suck, or is that something I have to work on too?

Furious_Female 12-01-2003 12:23 PM

The only thing I had to invest money in were my computers and a little bit of content. Furious_Male always provided me with hosting. So I started making a profit the same day I started and I've been doing it full time since day one.

::waits for stocktrader23 to tell me I don't count though :1orglaugh :1orglaugh ::
