Epowertrader...good/bad?

Just curious how those of you who use this software for trades like it and if it compares to some of the pricier options like Tm3 etc. I have TM3 but when I move my sites I get tired of having to pay the re-install fees all the time. So I was looking around at other options and noticed a few people using this script. What are your thoughts on it? Good/Bad?

If you run both TM3 and E Power Trader, I would really like to hear a comparison between the products.

How often are you moving that it becomes a issue?

It's not that I move a ton, but i have had to move this site a couple times due to some bad hosts over the last 6 mos. Being a programmer I like installing stuff myself, and I get frustrated when I have to wait on others, so I was looking at other options if there were comparible ones available.

If TM3 is simply a superior product then I will stick with it, however if I can get the flexibility of installing software myself, and at a cost that is more inexpensive than Tm3 then I will use that product. Thats why I was asking if someone has used the EPT (and I dont mean Error Proof Test...although Juicy, im sure your g/f's have had to use that on occassion! )

Thanks..Andy

I don't think you can install EPT yourself anyway - it's installed with the Zend Optimizer/Encoder. I can't see you having the un-encoded files - it would defeat the purpose of needing Zend.

in my experience it was a pain in the ass. Better to spend a bit mroe money and get tm3

I like it. The support is good. Nice cheat detection and easy to use.

It says on the site you can install it yourself, and the zend encoding is done on the programmers end, not during installation. As long as I have the zend optimizer stuff running on my apache/php installation it will install just fine.

Anyhow was asking about critiques from teh software more than anything else. Oh well guess I will stick with TM3.

Ah, ok. Sorry, I thought eskimoen did all the installs. Well, hopefully someone who uses it will get back to you.
