Well, being from Montreal it's a lot cheaper for me to go to Whistler .... it's the same currency! :)

Whistler is way over rated and busy as hell....I would recommend Big White in Kelowna....a quarter the amount of people and way better snow. I went there last year and had the time of my life....wicked place.:2 cents:

Whistler is an awesome place. Only been in BC for 6 months so haven't been in snow yet. but planning on going skiing pretty soon.

Hotel a le Brad is free.

Blackcomb beat the fuck out of me last year - it was REALLY slushy. I hope this year will be better.

Chateau Whistler is the only place to stay. Everything else pales in comparison. :)

I'm interested too, but I'd like a place with a kitchen. A condo for 2 people maybe? What's a good place that's got ski in/ski out access?

I liked lake placid. Check them out if they still exist. Blackcomb mountains are so awesome!

spent some of last season in whistler, the rest in banff.. wasnt the best season but this year is looking alot better... There are alot of places in the village which are pretty much ski in ski out, if not the main lift isnt far away..

If you're looking for condos check out www.whistleraccommodation.com I worked there for a while when i lived in Whistler. They got some FUCKIN nice condos and the owners are top notch.

Well to tell you the truth, i lived there for 4 years when I was 18.... I loved it! I am now returning in this never never land of pure riding and partying but I have no clue what goes on in the hotel scene as Whistler grew so much.
When I was there... peak chair was definitely not a quad! LOL
