nero keeps ruining vcd
Anyone have experience with burning vcd's in nero? I have the mpeg compiled properly all to vcd version 1 specs. I then burn it in nero as video disk. Pop it in dvd player, player takes a hissy fit. So I try it on my pc, pc reads it like a normal data cd! It's not suposed to do that. It's almost as if the cd does not have a proper "TOC" to tell players it's a video cd.
I am using Memorex cd-r 700mb black face "vinyl" cd's. That should not be the problem as I have successfully made many audio cd's and even a winxp copy that worked and booted from this batch. This is dud vcd #2. Any tips before I waste a 3rd cd? |

It will read it as a data cd, if you have autorun on it'll ask to play the cd. Make sure your dvd player supports vcd format. Not all dvd players will play vcd. One quick tip, try svcd format, higher quality video.
