How do you get the smell out of your chair?
Ok, I got this kick-ass leather computer chair bout a year or two ago on clearance (so they don't have another I can buy). This chair is so damm comfy - just kinda melt into it... the problem is I have been 'melting' too much.. and the chair fucking smells like farts. I have no idea how to clean this thing, but I reeeeeally do not want to get rid of it, it is too damm nice... other than the smell it now has.
So how do I get rid of the smell? :( |
You get what you put into it. Dont fart in your new chair.
|
Steam clean it or some shit. You can rent a cleaner for nothing and then spray some new smell shit on it
|
Oh hell no. If you steam the leather, it will dry up and crack. That would put a serious damper on your butt-groove. :1orglaugh
Just hit it with a damp rag and some mild dish liquid. (or you could get leather cleaner for a few bucks.) |

Perhaps you should think about changing your diet... if your farts are bad enough to stink out your chair, it sounds like you have a few intestinal issues.
|
Frebreeze, that shit is the best, will get out any smell...open your windows and spray it all over, really airs out a room.
|
Take a towel and spray it with Febreeze. Lay the towel, febreeze side down onto the chair. Place ass on chair, repeat a couple times per day until the smell disappears. Once the smell is gone, it wouldn't hurt to do this a couple times a week.

Wash your ass with a wet rag.

Check around with a bunch of your local drycleaners... there is a process (totallllly slipping my mind at the moment) that some drycleaners have to process clothes and such that have been in a fire. It removes smoke smells and other nasty stuff.
Not all drycleaners have it obviously, as it takes a room that seals off and they use some sort of static charge or something. But there is at least one in every city usually. Might not work on your chair but its worth the time to call and find out. :) Insurance companies LOVE this system. lol |
Dude must have some toxic farts.
I recommend total fumigation. |
i've had the same chair for since 98...this thing needs to be taken out and shot...just too damn cheap to get a new one
|
I had a chair once that I gave away 2 times and threw away 2 times. Went and got it back every time.:1orglaugh Glad the garbage hadn't been picked up.

Seriously, the solution for you people who have aligator ass and a bad case of stank chair...... Amway makes a cleaner called L.O.C. --- liquid organic cleanser...... that's the ticket for sure. Totally environmentally safe, potent yet gentle..... it will kill that gamey stench.
Everybody knows an amway guy. Contact one near you. |

And dang, some of you swear your farts don't stink, lol. This is not farting for a few days here, its over a looong period of time. And yes, I was my ass every day, and was it very well. |
OK, I found your answer:
http://www.fartypants.com/fartfilter.html That should save your chair once you get the stink out of it. |
