when I was younger I wouldn't even consider having sex without a condom. didn't matter if it was a long term girlfriend on the pill that I knew was 10000000% SAFE of STDs, I was terrified of having kids.

now that i'm in my 30's, i don't want to wear them anymore. the weird thing is it's not a safty thing which is one of the reasons why I always thought was why I used to want to wear them, ... i think unconsiously there's a greater desire to reproduce in one's 30's......

I like condoms. Helps me relax, knowing I most likely wont get pregnant or an STD.

I also tend to date and have much better sex with guys that like condoms (or at least find them necessary for sex outside long term relationships)

I think in this day and age, it's more STD's then pregnancy! You can die from one and not the other! My son is truly a miracle, i knew when i had him, it would be my only. I raised my step daughter who i lectured about safe sex endlessly....she still ended up pregnant at 17 but at least she's not dead! I believe, if your not in a exclusive relationship, you need to use condoms! otherwise it's like playing with fire, eventually you'll get burnt!

i agree, but the thing is as I get older I don't feel that need to prevent preganacy like I used to when I was younger....

just expanding on that feeling I now have is all - it's a significant change in my thinking that I noticed just recently

I'm still a young guy (22), but after going so many years with a condom while worrying about pregnancy, I can't wait until I am responsible enough to have a kiddo and peel off the shrink wrap!

I haven't used condoms for STD's, as I've only had a couple girlfriends who have both been long term (2 1/2 years for the first, and over 3 with my current gf), but at my age, I'm not quite ready for the child.
