I just got a new router today. I was using a Linksys 4 port router, but I decided to go with a Dlink wireless router that has 4 ports. I use the wireless for my laptop and the ports for my computers. Anyway my Linksys was a 10mbp router and this one is a 100mbp router, yet this connection seems pretty slow. Is there any tweaks I can do to maybe speed up the router?

I would say stick with Linksys. DLink has a crappy reputation when it comes to product quality and service.:2 cents:

about 6mbits effective no matter what you do.
