I took this photo of a back alley internet cafe in Guangdong, China only meters away from scorpion, snake, and frog meat vendors on Monday.

As my flash went off everyone inside ran for cover thinking that I was the police shooting evidence of an illegal internet cafe! The vast majority of chinese traffic comes from shops like this. Notice how nobody has a credit card in hand? They all had a big laugh after seeing it was only a Yankee imperialist webmaster.

You're lucky they didn't come running after you for taking their pic without asking! I think there was a big crackdown over there for "unlicensed" cafes after a bad fire, maybe that is why they were running.

Personally I'm glad to see people in that regime "busting out".
