Logitech MX700 Cordless/Rechargable mouse owners
 

If you bought it when it first came out the shit will stop working after a few months. I called those fuckers and it seems there was a "problem" with them initially. My mouse wont charge now or anything

So they are sending me anew one, its under waranty for 5 years

I got an MX700 and a microsoft Bluetooth mouse
I use the MX700 because it has a cradle to charge, FUCK microsoft :glugglug

look up what we he is talking about...it is the cordless version of that mouse...lol

I read on logitech forums also that alot of people are having issues with it

One of the guy in the office got one of those and he seems to love it.. hasnt had a problem with it at all

I was wondering if it might be a "Charge Memory" problem that is inherent to all recharable batteries..My beard trimmer just had the same issue after a few years...won't hold a charge anymore.

Yep, sounds like a memory problem. We just had 3 drill batteries do that and they were supposed to be the no mem ones. Grrr. 80 a pop. :BangBang:

before i called em i got new rechargable batteries for it and then afew days later same shit happened

the keyboard drivers on the mx and elite duo's are faulty. They will cause random reboots on xp pro corp and 2k pro

Ive got the elite duo and the mouse uses normal batteries, I bought a pack of radio shak NMh batteries, they last abou 2 weeks per charge, No memory to them at all. Still charging good a year later

My MX700 has yet to fail me. Best mouse I have ever bought.

i had it too and after a week of work, the buttons weren't working perfectly anymore...i want that shit to be perfect as i live with that basically. now i bought his smaller brother, Logitech dual optical (no cordless) - never misses a beat. costs also less than the MX and its even more precise i believe. get it.

why would you want a rechargable mouse ??

Ive had mine for a long time and never even changed the batteries. It works just like new.

Logitech makes some great stuff.

I agree, I love it too, but it's hard to remember to put it into the re-charger sometimes! :winkwink:

yup even the newest ones. Took me 30 minutes on hold with their tech support to find out that no matter which drivers I use it will still happen. Something goes funky in the keyboard drivers that corrupt the mouse driver causeing LHIDUSB.sys errors that if using xp pro corp the system goes to blue screen then shuts down. At least on win2k pro the wireless module just shuts off. Unplug the usb cable, wait a few seconds then plug it back in and all is fine.

I run win2k pro on most of my machines so i can live with that...thanks for the info :)
