No, I don't work for them... no I don't know anyone there. But I ran accross the site and bought a copy myself. Thought everyone would appreciate knowing about this:

it's a program/script to create/manage a thumbs tgp, right? you have to buy a copy for each tgp you run? |

they say it costs 150$, but right now on sale for 25$ go figure |
It is a pretty good script. The author is interested in feedback and adding new features.
An example of what it builds http://www.thumbthumb.com/ |

does anyone know them? Trying to get in touch with them

Just finished installing it. The thumb croping feature is awesome.
The safety and admin is not as strong orcomplete as AutoGallery Sql, but I still like it. Instructions are weak, mainly that some features discussed are not in the program... But still a buy! |
Please, no flame wars this time....
|
i didnt like the fact you had to upload a pic first then crop it. I wanted it to grab it automatically from a url :-) then i can crop it
|
Pretty cool:) and for $25, you can't go wrong. I should prolly pick up a copy and set it aside for later. Anyone know how long this special will last or is it not really a "special"and just a marketing thing. Anyway, It's worth $25 either way:)
I still think you get more bang for your buck with autogallery. The new 3.0 version has an awesome image cropping tool and a real powerful template system. Although lots of tgp/mgp sites use autogallery, they don't use the new version. Go ahead and submit a movie gallery to me(see sig) make sure you select "Select and crop an image from your gallery" To check it out. It's cool as shit:) Brian |

directfiesta, which features are you referring to? (I am not insinuating in any way that you are mistaken...heh)
Yeah the url image fetching is a must. For some reason I thought people would prefer upload...but the more I think about it the more wrong I think I was. The script isn't even a year old, though. I have an object in the works right now that will fetch thumbs from a gallery - just has to be added. Next release. Some people install the script with no trouble while others need to be walked through the whole thing. Regardless, if anyone has trouble installing they can contact me any number of ways and I will be glad to help. On the "why $25" issue - I'm not down a widget when I sell a copy of this. So I either spend $125 to acquire a customer that will pay $150, or I let everyone buy it for $25, get tons of free advertising, and get tons of great feedback. My greatest fear is that someone will find a bug or have a problem and go on thinking the script sucks without telling me. I'm here, always - so you can always bitch at me directly when there is a problem :winkwink: |
