How do you get someone to fall in love with you?
 

the "ways to say I love you" thread got me thinking.....

emotion is something that can DEFINATLY be played with. Think about how many times in your life you get a crush on this person or that person.

Do you buy into the idea that it's fate or are you a scientific thinker and look for concrete reasons as to why you become fixcated on this person or that person and not another.


Myself, I admit, I'm very sueptable to crushes. I love to fixiate on people and indulge fanticies therein. I have several ongoing crushes right now. But I think it's somehow based in reality and a show on tv the other day really opened my eyes.

This program talked about training women to get a man to marry them. It went on about concepts like listening to someone else to get them to like you - and I admit - I learnt as life insurane salesman I made 10X more money when people spoke more than I did in sales interviews. I made it a POINT to shut the fuck up and ensure that the other person spoke 70% of the time. more wasn't good - you couldn't lead them - and less meant they weren't into it. 70% was a rule. I only wanted to speak 30% of the time. - so anyway - taking this to crushes - that program on tv didn't exactly say this in the same way but had a concept VERY close to this. - it expanded on it by making sure that a woman told her perspetive man that she felt he was unique, and to find out about what he considers his strong points and reassure him about them - bla bla bla - anyway - I started to realize that the people who I get STRONG crushes on, basically do JUST that.

they speak about 30% of the time - trying to guide a conversation but not controll it and they make you feel like you are unique when you talk to them.

it's absolutly amazing how muh people want to talk about themselves - and even more so to an interested person.

Everyone's just craving attention at heart.

babes - take note - I made a LOT of money in sales with this tehinque and believe me it REALLY REALLY works if you want a guy to fall in love with you.


mind you - if all you're looking for is a night of passion - showing some leg and a couple of well placed winks is all that's required.

The human mind is fragile. Given the right stimuli it can be made to do or believe anything.

This goes for everything, not simply love.

I am not an expert on the subject by far, but I have studied a bit about the human psyche and how the brain works.

For instance, putting a phrase similar to "Get out the tissues, cos you're gonna be spanking it to this!" in a tour or gellery page will not work for the average surfer. They like to think they are annonymous, and if they think for an instance that you know they will be rubbing one out, they'll most likely be gone. For people more net-savvy, this phrase doesn't scare them. They know, no matter how much you know about their location/ip address etc, there is still a level of annonimity.

Knowing things like this is great for marketing. And getting someone to fall in love with you.

I don't condone it, but manipulation can be a great marketing tool.

the trick is to never fall in love. we as humans have no idea what the hell the word means. until society and as a nation could understand the concept of love we shouldnt play around with forces we dont understand.

Love can turn into the worst addiction. It feels so good when you're in it and hurts so bad when you are without it. I'm starting to believe love is just chemicals in our minds... but I honestly believe we have a soul and our brain just transmit love and emotion to us, because humans only know what they can see, hear and touch... humans can't comprehend or believe in something they have no physical evidence of.

Getting back to the original question... the only way for someone to fall in love with you, is to be who you are. I know that's cliche, but it doesn't matter what you look like... if your personality is a fraud. The best way for people to know you and fall in love, is to show them your best qualities and point out your flaws, so they know upfront and hopefully love the good with the bad.

Too many people confuse love and lust. So many get an adrenaline rush by flirting and sex, that they take the feelings for granted and become immune to true love. They feel things so often, associated with love, that they are no longer capable of knowing what lasting love feels like... at that point, it's no longer special. It's like someone who drinks beer everyday Vs. someone who only gets wasted on New Year's eve. Sometimes people can ruin the joy real love gives you, by abusing it and throwing it around like it's just a word.
